Majlis Apresiasi Sastera Cerita Lisan Brunei

Seramai 14 orang pelajar tingkatan enam bawah menghadiri Majlis Apresiasi Sastera Cerita Lisan Brunei Siri 4, 5 dan 6, di Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Turut hadir sebagai guru pengawas adalah ketua Jabatan Bahasa Melayu dan penolong ketua Jabatan Bahasa Melayu iaitu Cg Noralenie Binti Nordin.

Briefing on the Ocean Voices Video Competition 2026

A briefing session for the Ocean Voices Video Competition 2026 was conducted for team leaders involved in the School Improvement Plan (SIP) video production team.

The objectives of the briefing were:
• To provide an overview of the competition requirements, rules, and guidelines.
• To explain the competition theme, judging criteria, and submission procedures.
• To encourage students to harness their creativity and use video storytelling as a platform to promote ocean conservation and environmental awareness.

The session also provided an opportunity for participants to seek clarification and prepare effectively for the competition.

A CV Writing and Interview Skills session was conducted by Mr William Martin of Findlay Sdn Bhd to equip students with essential skills needed for scholarship applications, higher education opportunities and future careers. Students gained valuable guidance on creating professional CVs, presenting themselves confidently during interviews and developing effective communication skills.

VIDEO PRODUCTION BRIEFING FOR TERM 3 (FOR SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN 2026)

A total of 26 Lower Six students attended a video editing briefing facilitated by Senior Mistress of Academic, Siti Rohaini Md Saleh. The briefing aimed to explain the Term 3 STEAM video project requirements and provide guidance on the content, structure, and expectations of the videos. The initiative is part of the school improvement plan. It also supports Goal No. 1 of Brunei Vision 2035, which focuses on developing well-educated and highly skilled people.

LOWER SIX FITNESS TEST

The fitness test aims to assess students’ physical fitness and overall well-being while promoting healthy lifestyles, discipline and active participation in school activities. The initiative is also part of the school’s SBV35 programme, which supports Goal 2 of Wawasan Brunei 2035 in promoting a high quality of life.

ADVANCED CANVA VIDEO EDITING WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

A total of 26 lower six students attended the Advanced Canva Video Workshop organised by the School Improvement Committee in collaboration with the STEP Centre. The workshop was facilitated by Awg Musa Bin Haji Muhammad and aimed to enhance students’ digital creativity, video editing skills and confidence in producing engaging multimedia content for educational and co-curricular purposes.

Also in attendance were the focal persons for the School Improvement Plan, namely Siti Rohaini Md Saleh, Dk Malia Pg Hj Damit and Nurul Hadina Binti Hj Alias, as well as committee member Awang Safwan Bin Biar.













SCHOOL BEST PRACTICE SHARING SESSION

 20 MAY 2026. ADMIN NEWS. 

A sharing session on school best practices for sixth forms was held at Maktab Sains from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm, bringing together school leaders and management teams from various sixth form institutions to share their respective initiatives and successful practices. Also in attendance were officers from the academic unit of Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah

During the session, Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong was represented by the deputy principal of administration, Hj Azrin Bin Hj Bolhassan, who delivered a presentation entitled “QS Camp PTET: A Best Practice in Developing Future-Ready Leaders.” The presentation highlighted the programme’s role in nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork and future-ready competencies among students. 

Also present on behalf of PTE Tutong were Cg Muhd Shahnofazli Bin Hj Sabli (principal), Cg Siti Rohaini Md Saleh (Senior mistress of academic), Cg Dk Malia Pg Hj Damit (Senior mistress of Students Welfare) and Cg Hjh Norehsan Binti Hj Md Diah (Senior mistress of CCA).
