Voting on the Facebook page is as simple as clicking the 'Like' button under any video which appeals most to the viewer. The public's cote counts for as much as 20 per cent in the overall score of the students' performance, while the rest is mainly based on results from the official panel of judges.

Twinning programme fosters friendship and builds maturity (9.8.2017)

The Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTE Tutong) spent five days in Singapore from 31st July to 4th August 2017, as part of the school twinning programme with Tampines Junior College (TPJC) Singapore.

Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata covered the story.

Its main objective was to foster international friendship and understanding among Singaporean and Bruneian students. In addition to the school immersion, which doubtless is an unforgettable memory for PTET students with their TPJC buddies, the students have also grown in maturity and independence during the short trip away from family.

The Brunei delegation also visited historical places of interest and cultural landmarks, including the Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, Arab Street, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage, Merlion Park, Urban Redevelopment Agency (URA) City Gallery, Peranakan Museum and the National Museum.

PTET was represented by Cg Azrin as head of delegation, supported by Cg Adyani and Cg Onn. While at TPJC, their tutors - Ms Janet Leong, Ms Chong Keting, Mrs Agnes Teo and Mr Tan Chee Boon - were very hospitable and accommodating.
