DISCUSSION SESSION ON SCHOOL SELF ASSESSMENT FOR SERI

4 MAY 2026 - ADMIN NEWS

PTE Tutong participated in a discussion session for three assessment areas under the pilot phase of the Smart Education Readiness Index (SERI) with officers from the Department of Planning, Development and Research (JPPP), Ministry of Education.

The assessment areas and the respective focal persons from PTE Tutong were as follows:

Organisational Block – Cg Hj Azrin Bin Hj Bolhassan
Process Block – Cg Siti Rohaini Md Saleh
Technology Block – Cg Sia Hui Mein

Also present during the discussion on the Organisational Block were the Principal, Cg Muhd Shahnofazli Bin Hj Sabli, and the Deputy Principal (Academic), Cg Rozieana Binti Hj Zini.

STEAM OUTREACH PROGRAM ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE READY ASEAN AWARENESS

A total of 157 Lower Six students attended a STEAM outreach programme on Artificial Intelligence Ready ASEAN Awareness, organised by the school in collaboration with STEP Centre and Big BWN Project.

The awareness talk aimed to promote responsible use of artificial intelligence by emphasising the principles of ethics, fairness, transparency, and digital inclusion. Students also had the opportunity to explore creative applications of AI through a hands-on activity involving AI-assisted music remixing.
