On 28th and 29th August 2013, a few selected Lower 6 students attended the two-day Brunei-Oxford Bridging Programme at PTE Meragang. The guest speaker was Dr Kevin Foggs from the Oxford University.

From 16 to 24 June 2013, three PTET students and three Year 11 students from SM Sayyidina 'Othman attended the 6th Malay College Youth Development Summit at Kuala Kangsar, Perak Malaysia. The theme was "Grooming Green Societies".
