The new PIBG (Parent-Teacher Association) for 2017/2018 was elected by parents and tutors.
Amongst the six parents elected to hold the key positions were
Hj Amit bin Haji Omar - Chairperson
Norfah binti Esok - Deputy Secretary
Khoo Sing Chen - Deputy Treasurer
Imam Haji Kartolo bin Haji Abang - Chief Bureau in spiritual acitivities
Haji Kamaluddin bin Haji Sabtu - Chief Bureau in community services
Haji Rosli bin Haji Karim - Chief Bureau in physical and recreational activities
The former PIBG chairperson for 2015/2016, Cikgu Abdul Kani bin Abdullah, expressed his gratitude to the school for allowing him to participate in the association.
The newly elected chariperson, Haji Amit meanwhile said that he hoped for the newly elected committee members to take on the responsibility to ensure the success of the students.

PTET star achievers feted at national academic award ceremony (20.5.2017)
Three Year 13 students (2015/2016) who achieved three straight grade A for the Brunei-Cambridge GCE A-Level November 2016 examination were awarded at a national academic award ceremony held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) today.

PTET appoints new student leaders for academic year 2017/2018
This morning, PTE Tutong held an investiture ceremony for the new student leaders session 2017/2018.

A total of 30 students were elected to become part of the Students' Council (MPP) with another 30 being elected to be part of the Peer Guiders (PRR).
Md Riyanulaiman Effendy bin Mohd Yazid is the new President of the Students' Council, succeeding Syafi'e bin Hj Sabrin.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Ammar Syahmii bin Alim is the new Chairperson of the Peer Guiders, succeeding Najwa Hazwani bte Muhammad Haskani as the outgoing Acting Chairperson.

PTET students (Session 2015-16), please collect your personal copy from the school admin office during office hour.

Imtiaz group sets bar high (26.4.2017)

Yesterday's gathering involved students who have scored 280 tariff points and above based on the UCAS tariff points system, either in their Lower Sixth End of Year examination and also the recently released GCE AS-Level November 2016 examination results.

In light of their current achievements, representatives from the college's Education Development Unit (EDU) briefed students and parents on various information that will become very pivotal in coming months for their varsity application.
The Assistant Senior Master (Academic), Cg Nur Adyani bte Hj Yusop briefed on general higher education options. The Head of EDU, Cg Charles Lim talked about overseas university application and key dates. The school's specialist career teacher, Cg DK Farizah bte Pg Hj Wahab briefed on the education loan.
It is hoped that the information relayed would benefit the Imtiaz focus group as well as their parents.

Students show outstanding IT skills to raise awareness on Glocal issues (18.4.2017)

Six groups of finalists, which comprises of Upper Sixth General Paper (GP) students had the opportunity to share with the school through their excellent thought-provoking videos in this year's iteration of the the GP ICT competition 2017.
Previous year's themes had included Superstititions, Green Brunei and Old is Gold. This year's theme is glocal issues. This year's finalists' videos touched on various global issues including poverty, racism, stereotypes, diabetes, catfish and drug abuse.
The top three videos, as judged by Faiq Airudin, a former photojournalist with the Brunei Times together with Cg Charles Lim Wei Siong (history tutor, PTET) and Abdul Azim bin Hj Morni (a former finalist from GP ICT competition 2015), were
