Just this afternoon, Teo Zhi Perng (PTET 2015/2016) was awarded as one of the three undergraduates under the prestigious Sultan Scholarship scheme.
Teo Zhi Perng is going to read MEng (Hons) Materials Science and Engineering at the prestigious Imperial College London, United Kingdom.

Badge Giving Ceremony for Tenderfoot Members of the Girl Guides Association at PTET (16.9.2017)

PTET held the first tenderfoot badge-giving ceremony for the newly appointed members of the Girl Guides Association recently. A total of 23 new members including both students and tutors from the college were awarded with the tenderfoot Girl Guide badges.
Present as the guest of honour was Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Hj Kamaluddin, Deputy Chief of Girl Guides Association Brunei Darussalam.

OxBridge sharing session for prospective undergraduates at PTET (14.9.2017)
Khong Yu Neng, a fourth and final year Chemistry undergraduate from Oxford University and Shaun SIm, a fourth and final year Chemical Engineering undergraduate from Cambridge University were present at Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTE Tutong) yesterday to deliver a briefing on university application and the admission process.

Oxford and Cambridge, two of the most historic and prestigious universities in the world, are the top universities in the United Kingdom, and are collectively known as OxBridge. All the sixth form centres in Brunei were invited to attend, including higher education counsellors and their prospective applicants.
The Madam Principal, Cg Hjh Murni binti Abdullah and the Deputy Principal Academic, Cg Rozieana binti Hj Zini were present, with the former presenting tokens of appreciation to both presenters upon the conclusion of the briefing.

PTET MOE scholars for first degree 2017/2018 (30.8.2017)
The MOE recently held a gathering for UK-bound students funded under the MOE as well as the loan financing option.
PTET is proud to announce that the following students have been awarded full MOE scholarships for their undergraduate degrees in the UK,

Another student had also secured the full MOE scholarship for her study in Australia to commence in January 2018.

The school is immensely proud of their achievements and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Current and prospective students of PTET can also aspire to one day supersede these achievements and carry the school's name further onwards and upwards.
PTET hosts open days for prospective students (30.8.2017)
Students from its feeder schools attended PTE Tutong for an open day during the morning session. In addition to general briefing, the attendees mainly Year 11 students of their respective secondary schools entered subject briefings where they have opportunity to discover more about their potential subject at A-Level.
The school wishes the students who came for the open day well for their upcoming O-Level examinations, and hope their academic achievements then would enable them to take up the A-Level option at PTET.

As in the previous preliminaries in the other districts, the judges were not the only deciding factor in the teams' scores, since the students' performances will be uploaded onto the OGDC's Facebook page for visitors to cast their votes.
Voting on the Facebook page is as simple as clicking the 'Like' button under any video which appeals most to the viewer. The public's cote counts for as much as 20 per cent in the overall score of the students' performance, while the rest is mainly based on results from the official panel of judges.

Entrepreneurs share stories of blood, sweat and tears at PTE Tutong (23.8.2017)

The Business department of Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTE Tutong) hosted an entrepreneurship talk for its Year 12 Lower Sixth students. New Gate Plus, a software company and Take5.bn, a cafe business, shared their stories of sweat, blood and tears.
Md Firdaus bin Zulkipli, a former student of PTE Tutong founded Take5.bn cafe in May 2016, when cafe businesses were booming in the Sultanate.
The other speaker, Agus Muslim Jaenuddin established New Gate Plus Company in March 2015. As an award-winning Information Technology (IT) developer start-up, the passionate and creative young Bruneian aspire to solve global challenges through IT solutions.
