Bruzece, a company established by the current Lower Sixth Business Studies students competed in the nationwide Junior Achievement award.

The students having worked for few months on their company portfolio, including vision, mission, and ultimately their product presented to a panel of expert judges.
Unfortunately, the school team lost out to the eventual winner from PTE Sengkurong. The experience nonetheless left the students in high spirit and eager to improve on their business model.

112 PTET students feted at PTET’s annual Khatamul Quran (21.9.2017)
An annual event at PTET is the Khatamul Quran programme for Year 13 (Upper Sixth) students, which is co-organised by the Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK) department, in partnership with the Student Council and the Peer Guiders.

A total of 112 Muslim Year 13 students who are sitting for the General Certificate of Examinations Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) October/November 2017, comprising of 39 male and 73 female students, took part in this year's iteration of the programme.
Present as the guest of honour was Cg Ali Hazis bin Hj Mohd Tahir, the Acting Director of Examinations, Ministry of Education.

PTET former student amongst Sultan Scholars 2017/2018 (18.9.17)
Just this afternoon, Teo Zhi Perng (PTET 2015/2016) was awarded as one of the three undergraduates under the prestigious Sultan Scholarship scheme.
Teo Zhi Perng is going to read MEng (Hons) Materials Science and Engineering at the prestigious Imperial College London, United Kingdom.

Badge Giving Ceremony for Tenderfoot Members of the Girl Guides Association at PTET (16.9.2017)

PTET held the first tenderfoot badge-giving ceremony for the newly appointed members of the Girl Guides Association recently. A total of 23 new members including both students and tutors from the college were awarded with the tenderfoot Girl Guide badges.
Present as the guest of honour was Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Hj Kamaluddin, Deputy Chief of Girl Guides Association Brunei Darussalam.

OxBridge sharing session for prospective undergraduates at PTET (14.9.2017)
Khong Yu Neng, a fourth and final year Chemistry undergraduate from Oxford University and Shaun SIm, a fourth and final year Chemical Engineering undergraduate from Cambridge University were present at Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTE Tutong) yesterday to deliver a briefing on university application and the admission process.

Oxford and Cambridge, two of the most historic and prestigious universities in the world, are the top universities in the United Kingdom, and are collectively known as OxBridge. All the sixth form centres in Brunei were invited to attend, including higher education counsellors and their prospective applicants.
The Madam Principal, Cg Hjh Murni binti Abdullah and the Deputy Principal Academic, Cg Rozieana binti Hj Zini were present, with the former presenting tokens of appreciation to both presenters upon the conclusion of the briefing.
