Solat hajat for upper six students who will be sitting for Oct/Nov A level examinations

20 SEPTEMBER 2026. 

A Solat Hajat was organised for Upper Six students who will be sitting for their upcoming Oct/Nov A level examinations, held from 2.00 to 3.00 pm at RPN Bukit Beruang Mosque. The session provided an opportunity for students, parents and teachers to come together in prayer, seeking Allah SWT’s guidance, strength, ease and blessings as students prepare for their examinations. As part of the event, a charitable contribution (wakaf) in the form of three wall fans and kain kafan was also presented through the imam of the mosque. The gathering served as a meaningful reminder for students to remain focused, confident and resilient, while continuing to put forth their best efforts in their studies and examination preparations.

Warkah giving session for upper six batch 2025/2026

19 SEPTEMBER 2026. 

A Warkah giving session was conducted for Upper Six students who will be sitting for their upcoming Oct/Nov A level examinations. The session aimed to motivate and encourage students as they prepare for this important stage of their academic journey. Through the sharing of warkah and words of encouragement from their tutors, students were reminded to stay focused, believe in their abilities, remain resilient, and give their best effort in the examinations. The session also served as an opportunity for tutors to show their support and reinforce a positive mindset among students as they approach their final examinations.

Youth Science Forum Talk: APEC research on miracle plants and micro-pollutants

17 SEPTEMBER 2026. YSF NEWS. 

The Youth Science Forum (YSF) 2026/2027 successfully organised its fourth Science Talk, titled “APEC Research on Miracle Plants & Micro-pollutants.”

The session featured Fong Zhen Qi (U6-1) and Muhammad Syahmi Zharfan bin Haji Zainol Shamri. (U6-4) as speakers. They shared insights from their participation in the APEC Cross-Mentoring Research Activity for the Gifted in Science, which involved collaborative research with teammates from other ASEAN countries throughout 2025 and 2026.

Fong Zhen Qi and his team explored the potential of aloe vera in promoting plant growth, while Muhammad Syahmi Zharfan and his team investigated how everyday washing practices can contribute to microplastic pollution in waterways.

The talk provided students with an opportunity to learn about research conducted through international collaboration while highlighting how scientific investigations can address real-world environmental issues.

Professional Development for Tutors on Artificial Intelligence

15 AND 16 SEPTEMBER 2026. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS

A sharing and professional development programme was conducted over two sessions by the Senior Master of Administration, Cg Teo Kui Sheng, focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in classroom assessment. Both sessions were held at the Smart Classroom from 2.30 to 4.00 pm. The first session, held on 15 September 2026, was tailored for tutors teaching Languages, IRK, and Humanities subjects, while the second session, held on 16 September 2026, was conducted for tutors of Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Arts.

Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong held its Upper Six VIP Day 2026 post Qualifying Examination, bringing together parents, teachers and students to discuss academic progress and support students in their A-Level journey.

The session provided a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to work together, exchange feedback and identify ways to further support students as they prepare for the upcoming examination and the challenges ahead.

A heartfelt appreciation to all parents for their time, commitment and continued support towards the academic success, personal development and wellbeing of our Upper Six students.

Majlis Khatam Al'Quran Bagi Pelajar Tingkatan Enam Atas Sesi 2025/2026

12 SEPTEMBER 2026. KHATAM Al'QURAN.

Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong held its Majlis Khatam Al-Quran for Upper Six students on 12 September 2026, commencing at 9.45 a.m. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Awang Mohammad Zulhilmi bin Haji Omar Ali, Director of Administration, Ministry of Religious Affairs, as the Guest of Honour. 

The ceremony provided an opportunity for the Upper Six students to complete their recitation of the Al-Quran together in a blessed and meaningful setting. May Allah SWT bless all our Upper Six students with success, wisdom and barakah in their future endeavours.
