More Than Just Sounds: Animal Language

The second talk in the Youth Science Forum (YSF) 2026/2027 series, titled "More Than Just Sounds: Animal Language", was successfully held at the Lecture Theatre Perseverance, Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong.

The session was presented by Nurezzah Ellina Ezzahraa binti Ali Noordin (L6-2) and Farisha Farhanah binti Hj Mas Zuraime (L6-1) from the YSF Talk Unit. The speakers introduced the audience to the fascinating ways animals communicate through sounds, body language, and chemical signals to survive and interact with one another.

The talk attracted a full house, reflecting the students' enthusiasm for science and learning. The organisers thank everyone who attended and look forward to welcoming more participants to future YSF talk

The Mind Matters Program by BMSA

16 JULY 2026. HEALTH NEWS. 

The Mind Matters Programme, organised by the Brunei Medical Student Association (BMSA), was held at Lecture Theatre Trustworthy (LTT). The programme featured an educational talk on mental health delivered by Dr Isyrah, alongside interactive educational booths, engaging games, and a gratitude wall designed to encourage students to reflect on positive experiences and promote emotional well-being.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness of mental health, foster open conversations, and equip students with knowledge and practical strategies to support their overall well-being.











PrivGL 2.0 Briefing for Parents of Lower Six Students and Parents Teacher Meet-Up (PTM) 2026

11 July 2026. PrivGL NEWS. 

Today, from 1.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m., the administration of Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong (PTE Tutong) conducted a briefing session for the parents and guardians of students enrolled in the Privilege Guided Learning Programme 2.0 (PrivGL 2.0) following the lower six progress test 2026. 

The session aimed to provide an overview of the PrivGL 2.0 framework, explain the programme's objectives, implementation procedures, and intervention strategies, as well as highlight the important role of parents and guardians in supporting their children's academic progress. .

Following the briefing, a Parent–Teacher Meet-up (PTM) was held in the school canteen from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. for the parents and guardians of Lower Six students. During the session, tutors met individually with parents to discuss students' Progress Test results, review their academic performance, identify areas for improvement, and explore strategies to support their learning and future progress.

Induction Programme For MPP/PRR Batch 2026/2027

 6 & 7 JULY 2026. MPP/PRR NEWS.

A two-day induction programme was conducted over two afternoons at the Lecture Theatre, Trustworthy, Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong (PTE Tutong) for the newly appointed Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) and Pembimbing Rakan Remaja (PRR) cohort for the 2026/2027 academic session. The programme aimed to equip student leaders with the knowledge, skills, and responsibilities required to effectively carry out their roles while fostering teamwork, leadership, and a strong sense of commitment to serving the school community.







Jerayawara Profesion Perakaunan

8 JULY 2026. ROADSHOW NEWS.

Thirty-three Upper Six students studying Business, Accounting, or Economics, together with tutors from the Business Department of Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong (PTE Tutong), attended the Jerayawara Profesion Perakaunan held today at the Lecture Theatre, Trustworthy. The event was organised by the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Institute of Certified Public Accountants (BICPA). Also in attendance were the Principal and Deputy Principals of PTE Tutong, demonstrating the school's strong support for initiatives that expose students to professional pathways in accounting, finance, and related fields.














Ice-Breaking Session for the Newly Appointed Youth Science Forum (YSF) Batch 26/27

YSF Alumni from the 2025/2026 batch facilitated an interactive ice-breaking session for the newly appointed Youth Science Forum (YSF) 2026/2027 committee. The session was also attended by YSFA Founder who is also the current YSF coordinator, Siti Rohaini Md Saleh, who co-facilitated and observed the activities. YSFA Manager, Jasmine Basyirah Binti Hj Jefri, served as the chairperson and was responsible for reviewing the programme proposal prior to the event.

The session featured three science-themed team-building activities designed to strengthen collaboration among current YSF members while enhancing their scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.

Notice Board Makeover Competition

JUNE - JULY 2026. CCA NEWS. 

The PSIP Environmental Executive Committee is organising the CCA Notice Board Makeover Competition, inviting all CCA clubs and societies at PTE Tutong to participate in an initiative that promotes creativity, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among students.

The competition aims to encourage clubs and societies to design and maintain notice boards that are visually appealing, well-organised, and informative, while effectively showcasing their activities, achievements, and upcoming programmes. The initiative also supports the creation of a more vibrant and engaging learning environment within the school.

A briefing session was conducted on 27 June 2026 at LTT, where participating clubs and societies were briefed on the competition objectives, guidelines, judging criteria, and timeline.

Participants are required to complete their notice board decoration and enhancement by 7 July 2026, with the judging session scheduled for 8 July 2026. The competition will conclude with the Closing Ceremony and Prize Presentation on 9 July 2026, where outstanding entries will be recognised for their creativity, presentation, content, and overall quality.
