Tutors from Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong (PTET) attended EduTALK 2026, held on 28–29 October 2026 at Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam’s 36th Teachers’ Day Celebration.
Centred on the theme “The Hearts and Minds of Teachers: Reaffirming Why We Teach,” the conference brought together more than 6,600 educators and school leaders from across the country to reflect on the purpose of teaching, strengthen professional connections and renew their commitment to shaping future generations.
A highlight of the conference was a sharing session by Professor Tan Oon Seng from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Following his sharing, participants engaged in a learning circle featuring a question-and-answer session with the guest speaker. This interactive platform encouraged the exchange of ideas, reflection on professional experiences and meaningful discussions on the values and purpose of teaching. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, reconnect with fellow educators and reaffirm their shared commitment to delivering quality education and nurturing the next generation.
